Co-Educational Independent Day and Boarding School
Forces Families and CEA
Bedstone College has had strong links with the armed forces for many years, with families choosing Bedstone for their child’s education because of our excellent pastoral care, family atmosphere and small class sizes. We are also one of the few full boarding schools to offer a full academic and sporting programme on Saturdays and do not have ‘exeat’ weekends (although weekend leave may be granted on an individual basis). We offer generous financial support to serving members of the armed forces which, when combined with the CEA, can mean parental contributions are around 10% of the published boarding fees. We are on the Accredited Schools Database (ASD). Please contact the CEAS (Children’s Education Advisory Service) for assistance: Trenchard Lines, Upavon, Pewsey, Wiltshire, SN9 6BE. Call 01980 618244, fax 01980 618245 or email email@example.com. They are open from 8.30am–3.30pm UK time, Monday to Friday.
Our Learning Support department is accredited by CReSTeD as a Specialist Dyslexia Unit: one of only 37 in the UK (state and independent, day and boarding schools). This means that, for children who require learning support particularly for dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia, Bedstone College may be an excellent choice. The MOD’s Special Educational Needs Allowance (SENA) is linked to the CEA. It can be claimed to cover the cost of additional lessons to support your child’s SEN. Eligible children will need to be assessed by a Chartered Educational Psychologist from Dyslexia Action. Our Learning Support Team is here to help throughout this process.
Serving families, thanks to the CEA and our concessions, enjoy significant discounts on fees – up to 90%. For parental contributions for 2017-18, FORCES FEES 2017-18
