Head of EAL Required for September 2019

This key post offers an exciting opportunity to a highly qualified and experienced professional, who is passionate about teaching and is looking for a challenging role in leading and developing the College’s English as an Additional Language department across the Senior School and Sixth Form. The ideal candidate will be an innovative leader with strong organisational skills who is able to assess effectively the language support that students require, and to develop and manage bespoke programmes of study which meet their needs as fully as possible. We invite applications from individuals who are fully committed to making a difference and who are also willing to take a full part in the life of an independent boarding school. Bedstone has its own salary scale and the salary will be set according to qualifications and experience. The College participates fully in the DfE Teachers’ Superannuation Scheme. There are also very generous fee concessions with respect to staff children being educated at the College. Midday Supervisor in the Junior School

Bedstone college is seeking a cheerful and assertive person to act as the midday supervisor in the Junior School. Experience of working with children is desirable but full training will be given. The start date is negotiable but we would like it to be as soon as possible for the right candidate.

Mini Bus Driver:

Bedstone College requires a driver to undertake morning and evening school runs (Monday to Saturday) plus additional driving as required, during term time only.

You do not need a PCV Licence for this position however a category D1 is essential.
