Bedstone College students are expected to be smart at all times and to take pride in their appearance. The College has a formal uniform which is for students in the Junior and Senior Schools.
Sixth Form students may wear business dress during the school day. We also require students to wear some items of ‘badged’ sports kit during PE and Games, especially for matches.
There are several ways to buy school uniform, including a uniform shop on site (now run by Parv and Kim Singh):
Bedstone College uniform is available through a local supplier, School Shop Direct, on their website www.schoolshopdirect.co.uk
Clothes can be ordered and delivered either to your home or to the school ready for your arrival.
In store: School Shop Direct: 5 Henley Way, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, 01743 440449 operating normal retail hours. See www.schoolshopdirect.co.uk
In our own uniform shop on campus open on Wednesday afternoons between 15:30 and 16:30 in term-time only.
It is important to note that Bedstone College does not accept money on behalf of the supplier. Please note: uniform must be paid for by cash, credit card or cheque and cannot simply be added to the fees invoice.
For new starters, we strongly advise ordering and paying online and arranging free delivery to the uniform shop on campus. You can make a fitting appointment and any incorrect sizes can be replaced. The shop will usually be open for the last two weeks of the summer holidays, and international students will be given an appointment during their induction, which takes place several days before lessons start.
Our admissions team will send a full uniform list with your joining pack when you have accepted a place or they can be downloaded here (all correct at time of going to press; prices and items may vary):
If you are a current/ former parent with good condition. outgrown uniform and are willing to donate it so we can give it to those in need, please do drop it in at ANY TIME including school holidays, just come to Reception. Blazers and kilts in particular! Thank you.
